The Eye of Deprivation
In this world, one thing persists. The insatiable need for eternal rest, as all things suffer. Your quest is to power through the persistent, eye that gives momentary rest to all things. To find your way to the gates of the unbound and find rest from all the suffering.
There are more than two colors.
Unfortunately I have been battling Unity the whole time to make sure there are only two colours but in the end the UI has won. The button animation and text itself sometimes have transparent pixels on the edges. I will say in my defense you probably don't notice these.
From yours truly
Hello, welcome to my new game Eye of Deprivation! I have opted to make a simple, relaxing game that encourages taking it slow. Although you can make an argument that it is a rage game to some. I was going to make music and a better thumbnail but I had a few issues with the game build and coyote time today, but luckily the game is playable. This game will always follow the 1 bit theme except for one little change. I will define a color as HSV excluding the transparency. Unlike the jam which can only have two hexadecimals, I will put transparent pixels here and there. I will make sure not to abuse this and end up with 20 different looking colors. I am extremely happy about this game, I find that all it lacks is higher quality and more content unlike my other games thus far. I will take this game much further than my other games but likely not to its full potential.
The future
The game will have more levels, difficulties, puzzles, saving, color palettes, abilities, mechanics, enemies, lore, and loads of stuff. (Too lazy to write it all)

that's right I did this completely by myself with no outside assets (My first game on itch that was made by me alone)
Was originally made for https://itch.io/jam/b1t-jam-5
